On ativan for 9 days and stopping cold turkey?

Any medication in that cl of drugs should not be quit cold turkey. Did you run out of your meds? If not, I highly recommend that you wean yourself off of them. You haven't been taking it long, so your misery might be more psychosomatic than physical. HOWEVER, I quit taking a benzodiazepene after several months of use and had the absolute worst withdrawal symptoms. I had four tonic-clonic seizures, busted my scalp open during one of them and had to have my scalp stapled up. I would talk to your doc, benzos are nasty drugs (albeit helpful for anxiety.)
