Should i just walk away? or back off a bit?

i get a funny feeling that my guy isn't as interested in me as i am in him. like i tell him i had a good time when we went out, and he says it does him good to think that i enjoyed myself and it was fun for him too. each time, it's like i had a brilliant night and he says he likes my company. he does things in a gentlemanly way but theres something missing. he mentions fun too much, or just that he needs to recover cos i shagged him out. apart from that it's joking like a friend. i dont know where i am.
