Isn't this really why the Democrats are trying to smear Rush?

That is exactly why they need to smear Rush. They tried smearing Gen. Petreaus with no luck. They then turned to Bill O'Reilly with no luck. Then it was Rush Limbaugh's turn, and again no luck. Now if you look they are going after Ann Coulter again. The conservatives are gaining ground and now the left has turned it's attention on smearing the conservatives to discredit them, trying desperately to make up the lost ground, only it is backfiring, in a big way. This election was all but wrapped up a month ago, and now the democrats are getting worried, that the republicans are going to make a run at it.
