Can you backtrack purchases made on the internet through identity theft?

my girlfriend has just been identity scammed and we need to know if we can backtrack the orders from the companies (expedia, hotelclub.com, floraqueen.com totals about $500, and we havent even got the expedia bill) using the credit card info. we have no idea how these people/or person got the info, but i would like to gut them....but we think he/she him/them is in the UK.... a long way from texas.. if anyone knows how to backtrack i would really appriciate it......maybe with a CASH REWARD!!!!
