Why do you think the professional actor Ben Stein made a movie against evolution, if evolution is so obvious?

Ben Stein is a brilliant man but is probably a devote Jew. There are many people who buy into the well crafted but seriously flawed "intelligent design" "theories". He is obvously not a brilliant biologist but he is pretty smart in politics and probably other areas as well. There are several other brilliant people that also don't get how it has been proven as much as anything can be proven that evolution is how live developed on this planet.
