Do women focus more on the future of a relationship than men?
As a 42 year old woman, divorced for a little while, I find that in reentering the dating world the men are committed, but shy away from conversations regarding future "talk" and I on the other see it as the ultimate goal. In my current relationship it is the same. He is committed, has promised me the happy ever after "someday" and I believe him with all my heart. He shows me and tells me he loves me everyday. But he rarely discusses the topic or plans for the future, but if I do it is fine. Is this a guy/girl thing? When do men begin this conversation. We have discussed waiting years until we get together as we both have school age children and wouldn't want to uproot them as we live in different states.
