Would I be able to upgrade my processor? (see details)?

The processors would have to have the same socket and FSB frequency. The 2.4GHz CPU would have to be a socket 478 and have an FSB of 400MHz like the 1.6GHz CPU does. If they match, you are good to go. If the CPU specs don't match, you're computer will not function.
