Japanese and cruelty in world war 2..your thoughts?

Yes there were acts of cruelty on both sides during the war but Germany and Japan started the war and as in all wars civilian's end up being hurt and killed. But consider the treatment of the POW's held by the US compared to the treatment of American POW's held by the Germans and the Japanese.
