Why is it that, especially in regards to gay marriage.?

Because atheists hate God, that's why. Everyone knows that just because the only reason people are against gay marriage is because they are religious, and religion is supposed to have nothing to do with laws, does not mean we should let people who love each other marry at no cost to us. The idea of gay marriage is absurd!
