I have a Lancer ES and want to put an RX-7 TT engine and trans and make it rear wheel drive. realistic or no?

I think with custom motor mounts and some work the engine swap would work because the rotary engine isn't very big, it may even be a little smaller than my weak little 4-banger. Then my thoughts were swapping the rear axle with a rear axle from another Mitsubishi that had AWD or RWD. I have done a bit of research and it seems like it could actually be realistic and it would definitely be a one of a kind Lancer. I realize it would probably be a bit pricey but tell me your thoughts.
